Your answers. Your approval.

Greeting, hours, services and FAQs stay under your control. Draft changes don’t alter a published version.

Working locally

Enquiries with a next step.

The local workspace keeps confirmed synthetic enquiries together, with New, Contacted and Closed callback states.

Working locally with test data

A conversation, not a dead end.

Natural voice, caller interruptions and an approved fallback are the goal. They’re tested in simulation; real-call acceptance comes next.

Live voice in development

Clear boundaries by design.

Tenant-scoped access is tested locally. Recording stays off by default; prices, bookings and availability must never be invented.

Local controls · live privacy review pending

03 / A BETTER FIRST HELLO

Hear the idea.
See the difference.

A simple boiler-service enquiry. A clear readback. A better starting point for the callback.

This is an illustrative script, not a recording of Talkroo or a live AI connection. Playback uses a local English voice if your browser provides one. You can always read the full script.

No microphone.
No real call.
No customer data collected.

My boiler needs a service. Can someone call me back?

  3. Receptionist

I can take your enquiry for the team. What’s your name, callback number and postcode?

  4. Caller

Sam Taylor. My number is 01632 960042. The postcode is BS1 1AA.

  5. Receptionist

Thank you. That’s Sam Taylor, 01632 960042, BS1 1AA, asking for a callback about a boiler service. Are all those details correct?

  6. Caller

    Yes, that’s right.

Illustrates the intended enquiry flow. Real telephone conversations, caller confirmation and email delivery are still awaiting live acceptance. Nothing is submitted or saved here.

04 / MADE FOR THE REAL WORKING DAY

Good work shouldn’t
mean missed enquiries.

Starting with UK plumbing and heating businesses. These are intended use cases, not active live services.

01 / OVERFLOW

Hands full.
Phone ringing.

You’re in the middle of a repair. The intended receptionist takes the enquiry so you can focus on the job in front of you.

02 / AFTER HOURS

Day finished.
Door still open.

A service request comes in after closing. The planned flow explains your approved hours and gathers a callback enquiry.

03 / CLEAR LIMITS

No guessing.
No false promises.

An uncertain price or availability question goes back to the team. Dangerous enquiries need an approved safety policy, never improvised advice.

05 / A FEW STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Glad you asked.

Clear expectations, from the first hello.

Can I use Talkroo for real calls today?

Not yet. Talkroo is in local development. Configuration publishing, tenant-scoped enquiry workflows and synthetic call handling are tested locally. Live telephone conversations and real email delivery still require integration and acceptance testing.

Who is Talkroo being built for?

UK small businesses, starting with plumbing and heating teams that need help with overflow and after-hours enquiries. The first goal is a clear, confirmed enquiry for the owner to follow up.

What will the receptionist know about my business?

Your approved greeting, services, service areas, opening hours and frequently asked questions. The local owner workspace supports editing, reviewing and publishing those settings. Published versions are kept separate from drafts.

Will it book appointments or quote prices?

Calendar booking is outside the initial scope. The intended receptionist must not invent prices, promise availability or confirm an engineer’s attendance. Unknowns should become an enquiry or an approved fallback.

Are calls recorded?

Recording is disabled by default in the current design. This preview neither accesses your microphone nor records audio. Real provider processing, retention, privacy notices and any voicemail arrangements need approval before live use.

How much will Talkroo cost?

Plans, prices and usage allowances have not been approved. There is no checkout, subscription or waitlist form on this preview. Explore the scripted demo and check the availability page for the current status.
